-DEBT TALKS SHIFT TO CONGRESS: The on-going debt ceiling talks shift to Congress as some speculate U.S. President Barack Obama is losing traction on the issue.

THURSDAY'S NEWS:
-OBAMA SAYS "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" ON DEBT IMPASSE: U.S. President Barack Obama says "enough is enough" in the on-going debt stalemate between the White House and Congress; demanding a deal by the week's end.
-MISSING BOY'S REMAINS FOUND IN GRUESOME MURDER: The dismembered body of an 8-year-old boy was found in the suspected killer's freezer and trash bin; a crime that has shocked Brooklyn.

WEDNESDAY'S NEWS:

-AFGHAN PRESIDENT'S BROTHER KILLED: Ahmad Wali Karzai, the half-brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzi was assassinated in Kandahar.
-OBAMA SAYS CHECKS MAY NOT COME: Social Security and other benefit payments may not be mailed out to Americans if a Congressional debt ceiling deal is not reached, says U.S. President Barack Obama.

MONDAY'S NEWS:
-OBAMA SAYS NO TO SHORT TERM DEBT DEAL

-U.S. President Barack Obama told Congressional leaders in both parties he would not sign a short-term debt ceiling deal and called on Congress to meet everyday until the issue is resolved.
